On the afternoon of March 10th, Xu Qiang, Vice Mayor of Ningbo City, visited the Municipal Supply and Marketing Cooperative to conduct research work, listened to the work report of the Municipal Supply and Marketing Cooperative, and had discussions and exchanges with members of the Municipal Supply and Marketing Cooperative team. Xu Qiang pointed out that in recent years, the Municipal Supply and Marketing Cooperative has adhered to its main responsibilities and businesses, provided precise and effective services for agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, targeted innovation and entrepreneurship, continuously optimized asset preservation, and achieved harmonious and stable team building. The overall work results are remarkable and worthy of recognition.

Xu Qiang emphasized that currently, the municipal supply and marketing cooperatives should closely focus on studying and implementing the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of supply and marketing cooperatives, and correctly understand the new work situation they are facing. One is that promoting agriculture and assisting agriculture has reached a new stage. We need to focus on grain, logistics cost reduction, and demonstration of common prosperity, fully leveraging the unique advantages and important role of supply and marketing cooperatives in ensuring the supply of agricultural materials, promoting the circulation of agricultural products, and supporting agriculture. Secondly, the development of new quality productive forces has reached a new stage. We must seize the great opportunities of rapid development in agricultural technology, low altitude economy, artificial intelligence, etc., establish the great pursuit of accelerating the development of the social economy and improving the quality and efficiency of agricultural services, demonstrate the great responsibility of developing emerging industries and promoting the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. Thirdly, the management of the supply and marketing cooperatives has reached a new stage. We should be good at leveraging the flexible management system and mechanism advantages of supply and marketing cooperatives, strengthen confidence, seize opportunities, seize the momentum, and strive to contribute more supply and marketing strength to accelerate high-quality development and promote common prosperity in Ningbo.

Regarding the next steps of the Municipal Supply and Marketing Cooperative, Xu Qiang put forward four requirements. Firstly, strive to be the "vanguard" of rural revitalization. Always remember the purpose of serving agriculture, fully leverage the role of agricultural service centers, highlight the two major links of "supply" and "sales", and use precise services to assist in the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas. The second is to strive to be a "practitioner" of the development of new quality agricultural productivity. Identify the direction of development, increase investment in carbon emission reduction trading, matrix soil research and development, and seize the opportunity to win the market through innovation. The third is to strive to be a "model student" for reform and development. We will not slack off in anchoring the goal of common prosperity, strictly implement benchmarking, and strive to take the lead and stand at the forefront with our work achievements. The fourth is to strive to be a "compliant person" who emphasizes both diligence and integrity. Always maintain a clear and steadfast attitude on the road, move forward through difficult answers, innovate through practical work, and continuously consolidate the political ecology of clean and upright development.
